Gould joins MyMichigan urologist office
Ben Gould
Ben Gould, F.N.P.-B.C., joins Bradley Boehm, D.O., at MyMichigan Urology in Alpena.
Gould, a board-certified nurse practitioner, brings a strong background in emergency department and acute care nursing, where he developed extensive experience treating patients across a broad spectrum of clinical situations. During this time, he discovered a passion for urology, a field that offers the chance to address a variety of conditions and deliver timely, effective interventions. He enjoys having the ability to make an immediate and meaningful impact on patients’ health.
His philosophy of care is centered around ensuring each of his patients are being treated as a “whole” person, rather than just a particular disease process. It’s incredibly important for Gould to understand and acknowledge the numerous factors that influence health, healing and most importantly; quality of life.
“Once you understand the person in front of you, the trust built from those interactions helps establish a partnership in their care,” said Gould. “Above all, I’m guided by the commitment to always do what is right for each individual that trusts me with their care.”
Gould received a Master of Science and bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University and a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Saginaw Valley State University.
Urologists treat patients with a wide variety of urological problems, including disorders and diseases affecting the bladder, urethra, ureters, kidneys, along with the epididymis, penis, prostate, seminal vesicles and testes.
