ALPENA — Michigan State Police (MSP) detectives are currently investigating an officer involved shooting involving Presque Isle County deputies, MSP said in an email on Thursday.

According to the email, there were no injuries to law enforcement reported.

The suspect has been transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

M-65 near Leer Road, in Alpena County will be closed for some time. Please seek an alternate route while traveling.

There is no current threat to the public.
