The bike path between Sytek Park and the Evergreen Cemetery is closed until Thursday Oct. 16 for resurfacing.

The City of Alpena has placed barricades in this location until the project is complete, according to a press release. For the safety of citizens and the contractor, the City of Alpena asks citizens to not use this section of the bike path until the project is complete.

Weather or construction delays may prolong the project.
