ALPENA — Dustin Haske, 34, appeared in the 26th District Court in Alpena on Monday for a status conference. He is charged with six counts of criminal sexual conduct, first degree, and two counts of criminal sexual conduct, third degree.

In court, Nicole Blank Becker relayed to Judge Ed Black that they are in talks to reach a resolution.

Miller and Becker said that they are in constant talks to reach a resolution and that they are very likely to come to an agreement.

Due to the length of time that Haske has been incarcerated at the Alpena County Jail, Judge Black asked to set a trial date in the event that a resolution is not reached. Becker said she expects the trial to take three days.
