Planning for the annual Bolenz Jewelry Holiday Parade has begun and registration forms are now available. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 28, and starts at the Annex building parking lot at the corner of Chisholm Street and Ninth Avenue. The parade will travel down Chisholm Street, turn left onto Second Avenue, right onto Water Street, and will end in the parking lot behind City Hall. As always, a Christmas or holiday theme should be the dominating factor when decorating a float, and participants are urged to let your imagination be your guide.

Entries will be judged on originality, overall appearance, and lighting effort extended. Holiday music is highly encouraged.

Registration forms are available at the Chamber office at 235 W. Chisholm Street or at www.alpenachamber.com. Completed forms must be turned in by 5 p.m.on Nov.24. Late registrations will not be accepted. Entries without registration will not be allowed in the parade.

Winners will be announced via social media that evening and in the press on Saturday, November 29. Entries will compete for trophies and cash prizes in both categories, Commercial and Non-Commercial (1st =$200; 2nd = $150; 3rd = $100). For questions contact the Chamber at 989-354-4181.”
