The Community Outreach Committee of MyMichigan Health Foundation’s Development Council in Alpena will host an educational seminar on medical weight loss options, according to a MyMichigan Health press release.

The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct 30 at Art in the Loft.

The program will cover a range of topics that will include weight loss medications, bariatric surgery, and lifestyle and behavioral interventions.

Jeffrey Bonacci, a bariatric and general surgery expert, Christina Downer, a family medicine and obesity medicine provider, and Chad Radey, a clinical social worker, will give expert opinions at the event.
