The Michigan State Police are seeking assistance from the public to help locate a missing 16-year girl who lives in Cheboygan County.

Elise Strictland was reported missing on Friday and was last seen at her home at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say she left in an unknown direction and there is currently no description of the clothing she was wearing at the time.

Strictland is a white female about 5 feet tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has blonde hair, brown eyes, and has an eyebrow piercing.
