ALPENA — The League of Michigan Bicyclists began their annual Shoreline Tour in Alpena on Aug. 3. Northern Lights Arena hosted the cyclists for their first night of the seven-day tour that ended in Traverse City. Over 80 cyclists from around the country headed toward Rogers City on the first leg of the tour. Break stops were arranged along the route. Their favorite stop turned out to be at the Styma Potato Farm in Posen. Host Carey Styma provided a baked potato bar with all the fixings.
