July 14
3:13 p.m. Tri-Township Fire Department responded to a brush fire that started from charred wood that reignited. The fire department was able to get the fire contained and put out.
9:48 p.m. Tri-Township Fire Department responded to a vehicle on fire in Briley Township; they were able to get the flame put out shortly after arriving on scene.
July 15
8:48 p.m. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in Briley Township; the driver was cited for driving with no security.
July 16
7:39 p.m. A resident in Albert Township requested law enforcement to remove an unwanted male from her property. When a deputy arrived, they cleared after finding all parties involved spoke together and they no longer wanted the male removed.
8:22 p.m. Life360 notified MCSO of a vehicle crash alert in Albert Township. The company quickly called back, cancelling the dispatch. All units responding disregarded.
9:26 p.m. ADT Security reported a residential burglary alarm in Loud Township. Deputies responded, searching the residence and all out buildings. The property was secure.
July 17
3:39 a.m. While on his way to work a resident came across a downed powerline in the trees smoking and sparking. Hillman Fire Department and Alpena Power were notified.
6:07 p.m. A resident in Briley Township requested a civil standby. When deputies were available, they met with the resident and supervised while he collected belongings.
July 18
9:10 a.m. A deputy responded to a residential burglar alarm in Montmorency Township; once on scene the deputy searched the area and found the building to be secure.
10:20 p.m. Deputies responded to a noise complaint in Albert Township; the deputies spoke with the people at the address and had them lower the volume.
2328 p.m. Deputies responded to a commercial burglar alarm in Albert Township; the deputies secured the building before clearing the scene.
July 19
1:47 p.m. Deputies performed a welfare check on a subject in Rust Township; the deputies cleared the residence after speaking with the subject and found that he was okay.
11:38 p.m. A Michigan Conservation Officer performed a traffic stop in Albert Township; after speaking with the driver the officer conducted sobrieties and arrested the subject for operation while intoxicated and was lodged in Alpena County Jail.
July 20
10:15 a.m. Deputies stopped a male subject on the road after receiving a call regarding the subject. After confirming the subject was okay he followed the deputy back to the office to make a phone call home.
11:38 a.m. A broken communication pole was reported in Albert Township; the correct company was contacted and advised of the broken pole.
10:05 p.m. A vehicle deer accident was reported in Albert Township; a report was taken.
