Inmates housed in Alpena Jail – 13

June 30

1:42 a.m. A vehicle deer accident was reported in Loud Township; a report was taken.

11:57 p.m. Deputies responded to a complaint of a vehicle in the middle of the road in Hillman Township; when arriving on scene the deputies found a male subject inside the car who had appeared to have fallen asleep. The deputies cleared the scene once they made sure the driver made it home safely.

July 1

12:21 a.m. Dispatch received a notification of a commercial burglar alarm going off at a Briley Township business, dispatch was able to get in contact with the key holder and they had advised one of the workers had reentered the business and triggered the alarm.

7:06 a.m. Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in Albert Township; once on scene the two parties were separated and one subject was taken in custody and lodged in Alpena County Jail for domestic violence.

July 2

7:54 a.m. A resident of Briley Township called to report smoke coming out of his kitchen, everyone evacuated the house. Tri Township Fire and EMS, MCSO deputies, Hillman Fire, Albert Township Fire, and Vienna Fire all responded to the scene. The fire was put out, no injuries were reported.

11:15 a.m. A report of barking dogs was called into dispatch; a deputy responded to the residence and spoke with the owner of the dogs.

10:30 p.m. Deputies responded to Albert Township for a noise complaint and automated message stating the owner was in an accident at the same residence. The phone was left in an ORV and caused the 911 call. The residents agreed to keep the music at an acceptable level.

11:45 p.m. A dog was reported missing in Lewiston.

July 3

7:50 p.m. A resident in Albert Township requested law enforcement to her residence to assist in removing an unwanted individual off of the property. The subject had left prior to LE arrival but was issued a trespass warning.

8:48 p.m. MSP made a traffic stop in Albert Township. One male was arrested and transported to be lodged at ACJ.

11:26 p.m. A trooper responded to a residence in Albert Township for a 911 hang up. The caller was not answering any calls back. The trooper cleared, there was not an emergency.

11:53 p.m. A resident in Briley Township reported vehicles doing burnouts and being disruptive. Deputies drove the area but were unable to find the vehicles.

July 4

5:48 p.m. Deputies responded to a complaint of someone walking on their property. Once at the property the deputies checked the residence and made sure everything was secure before clearing.

10:35 p.m. Deputies responded to a welfare check in Albert Township; the deputies cleared the scene shortly after speaking with the subject and confirming that she was okay.

July 5

12:57 p.m. An MSP trooper responded to a residential burglar alarm in Rust Township; once on scene the trooper found the home to be secure and shortly cleared the scene.

3:15 p.m. Albert Township Fire Department responded to a brush fire in Albert Township; they were able to get the flames under control and cleared the scene once the fire was completely out.

July 6

12:59 a.m. MSP troopers made a traffic stop in Hillman, after interacting with the driver the troopers conducted sobrieties and found the driver to be intoxicated. The troopers cleared and lodged the subject in Alpena County Jail.

6:17 p.m. Dispatch received a call from an Albert Township resident that an ATV was left in the ditch in front of their house during the night and was still on their property. While a deputy was en route to the reporters address they had called back and stated someone had just come and picked up the ATV. Deputies attempted to contact the possible owner but were unable to.
