Fees for City of Alpena boat launch permits have changed as of Tuesday, according to a press release from the City of Alpena.

New rates are as follows:

A daily permit costs $8, a three-day permit costs $15, and a five-day permit costs $25.

A city resident seasonal permit costs $30 and a non-resident seasonal permit costs $60.

Boaters who have more than one boat/trailer can purchase a second seasonal permit for $10. This reduction is for a second boat/trailer only; additional boats/trailers must

be permitted separately.
