June 9
8:59 a.m. A deer vehicle crash was reported in Hillman Township; a report was taken.
10:57 a.m. A carbon monoxide alarm was going off in a residence in Avery Township; the homeowner requested the fire department to check for carbon monoxide.
10:39 p.m. Deputies responded to a residence in Montmorency Township for a complaint of an unwanted individual at the address. The deputies spoke with the unwanted female who stated there were no issues going on, the reporting party had left on foot. Without being able to speak with him, the deputies cleared after determining the female was intoxicated and could not drive.
June 10
6:31 a.m. A report of a truck that crashed into the trees in Albert Township was made. A MCSO deputy, Albert Township Fire and EMS all responded to the scene. A report was taken, EMS evaluated the patient and he was not transported to the hospital. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
8:58 a.m. A subject called to report that his seasonal residence in Albert Township had been broken into. The owner of the cabin called to report he had footage of an ATV on his property during the night, the neighbor went to check on the cabin to find the windows and one of the doors damaged. A deputy responded to the residence, and an investigation is ongoing at this time.
9:16 a.m. A commercial burglar alarm was reported at a business in Briley Township; contact was made with the premises and everything was secure.
1:23 p.m. While driving on M32, in Vienna Township; a tree fell out of the truck in front of the caller and the caller hit the tree damaging her vehicle. A MCSO deputy responded to the scene to take the report.
4:01 p.m. A caller stated they were stuck in the sand in Briley Township; M&D responded to pull the vehicle out
5:43 p.m. A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Avery Township; a report was taken.
7:16 p.m. A subject reported an unwanted female at their residence in Albert Township. There was an ongoing verbal dispute. Deputies arrived and were able to separate all parties, the unwanted subject left the property.
June 11
3:57 a.m. MCSO was alerted to a commercial alarm in Albert Township. Before the deputy’s arrival, the alarm company was notified that it was a false alarm.
8:44 p.m. A vehicle deer accident was reported in Briley Township; a report was taken.
June 12
1:16 a.m. Deputies responded to a 911 hang up in Rust Township after multiple failed attempts of contacting the caller; once on scene the deputies spoke with both parties and found there to be no emergency.
7:28 a.m. MCSO received a report of a commercial burglar alarm at an Albert Township business, a deputy responded and found a construction crew working on the building.
June 13
9:12 a.m. A deputy transported a male subject from the courthouse to Alpena County Jail on a warrant. Subject was lodged.
11:03 a.m. A male subject was transported by a deputy to Alpena County Jail to be lodged on a probation violation.
11:47 a.m. A commercial burglar alarm was reported by an alarm company. A deputy responded to the business, contact was made with the business and everything was found to be fine.
3:33 p.m. A report of a disabled vehicle on M33 in Avery Township was made. A deputy responded to the vehicle, the vehicle was removed from the roadway and the deputy cleared without incident.
3:42 p.m. Alpena County Jail called to report a male subject that had turned himself in on a Montmorency County warrant. The subject was lodged and the warrant was cancelled.
4:52 p.m. A civil dispute was reported in Briley Township; a deputy responded and spoke with both parties involved.
8:19 p.m. A noise complaint was reported in Albert Township. Deputies responded to the subject’s house to speak with them; the homeowner agreed to keep the music at a respectful volume.
June 14
1:54 a.m. Deputies responded to a residence in Avery Township for a noise complaint. Upon arrival, the subjects had turned their music down and were going to bed for the night.
2:05 a.m. MCSO was notified of a commercial burglary alarm in Albert Township. A deputy cleared the building and found it secure.
2:19 a.m. Multiple subjects were reported with their hoods up, aggressively knocking on door in Briley Township. When confronted, they ran off. Deputies were unable to locate the subjects.
3:56 a.m. Deputies conducted a motorist assist in Briley Township. The driver had hit a deer. M&D was contacted to tow the vehicle.
6:47 p.m. Albert Township Fire responded to a complaint of large amounts of smoke coming from the west side of East Twin Lake. The fire department drove through the area but did not see anything concerning.
June 15
3:28 a.m. Deputies responded to a residential alarm in Albert Township. They found the residence secure and cleared without incident.
7:03 a.m. A call came in referencing 2 large white dogs in the roadway in Vienna Township; a deputy responded to the area but couldn’t find the dogs.
7:54 a.m. An automated message came into the dispatch center via 911 stating that the owner of the watch had fallen. A deputy responded to the residence to do a welfare check, the subject was found to be fine, she didn’t know the phone had sent an alarm.
7:46 p.m. A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Hillman Township; a report was taken.
7:51 p.m. A suspicious vehicle was reported on the side of the road in Albert Township; the reporting party believed the occupants may be intoxicated. Deputies found the vehicle still parked and cleared, finding the individuals sober with no suspicious activity.
8:33 p.m. A vehicle/deer accident was reported in Rust Township; a report was taken.
