Starting July 5 until the end of September, Dial-A-Ride will expand their services to include Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to Angie Fox, executive director of Thunder Bay Transportation Authority (TBTA). Dial-A-Ride currently operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

According to Fox, this summer pilot program is a response to increased ridership and growing demand for expanded transit options. Saturday service will operate like regular weekday Dial-A-Ride.
