ALPENA — Due to a planned system upgrade, city offices are not able to accept any payments as of noon on Wednesday, June 18 through Monday, June 23, according to a press release.

This includes any permits, passes, taxes, fees, payments, and other services. The upgrade should be complete, and staff can begin accepting payments again at 10 a.m. on Monday. According to a press release, the city appreciates residents’ patience and cooperation during this software upgrade.
