The Alpena Gymnastics AAU Competitive team traveled to Lowell High School on April 26 to compete in

the district championships.

The team came home with many district champions — Callie Brousseau, Faith Dragiewcz, Brooke Smith, Lydia Allen, Elliot Radcliff and Elise Budd all brought home first-place medals. Their teammates, Alyana Gosselin, Livvy Spangle, Rachel Grider, Aryanna Page, Brooklyn Finch, Clare Lacross, and Maddie Coffman, also brought home medals which included second through seventh places. All of the girls did a fantastic job not only at this meet but throughout the entire year. Alpena’s next meet will be the National Championships which will be held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
