ALPENA – As visitors head toward Alpena’s harbor for the annual Brown Trout Festival, TJ Hoes State Farm invites everyone to take a break, enjoy a free hot dog, and help make a difference in the community.

On Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., TJ Hoes State Farm, located at 1013 S. State Avenue will host a community hot dog cookout and “Quotes for Good Event”. The event is free and open to the public.

Whether you’re heading to the tournament, cheering on anglers, or simply enjoying the Brown Trout Festival, stop by for food, family-friendly games, and an opportunity to support local nonprofits.

“Brown Trout Festival is one of Alpena’s favorite traditions, bringing our community together every summer,” said TJ Hoes. “We wanted to create a fun place where individuals and families can stop for lunch, enjoy some games, and at the same time support organizations that make Northeast Michigan a better place to live.”
