Family Movie Night – Aug.14 at Alpena bandshell
ALPENA – The MiFamily Engagement Center Region 3 invites all kindergarten through 5th grade families within the Alpena-Montmorency-Alcona Educational Service District to a free, family-focused Movie Night on August 14th from 7:30 to 10:30 PM at the Alpena Band Shell.
This community event is intended to bring families and school staff together in a relaxed and welcoming environment as the new school year approaches. The evening will include a one-hour pre-movie gathering time, giving staff an opportunity to connect with families, greet students, share school information, and take part in informal activities and conversations that help strengthen school-home relationships.Families will also have an opportunity to meet next year’s teachers.
Participating schools include Besser Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, Sanborn Elementary, Ella White, Wilson Elementary, All Saints School, Immanuel Lutheran School, and Hinks Elementary. All families are welcome to attend, even if their school is not participating.
Food trucks and community resource tables will be available throughout the evening, giving families access to local supports and services while enjoying time together outdoors. The featured movie will begin at 8:30 p.m.
This event is coordinated through the MiFamily Engagement Center Region 3 and reflects an ongoing commitment to strengthening connections between schools, families, and the broader community.
