ALPENA — The days are getting longer, the temperatures are rising, and, up at Art in the Loft, that means it is preparing for its SummerView 2026 exhibit.

Art in the Loft is welcoming roughly 30 local and regional artists into the gallery’s 7,000 square feet space for the SummerView 2026 exhibit. The exhibit’s soft opening is on May 26 with an opening reception occurring on June 2.

Come and enjoy original pieces made by local artists–they may even be your neighbors. The exhibit will feature multiple mediums, techniques, and styles with pieces for sale from each of the artists. The SummerView 2026 exhibit is the perfect place to pick up some amazing artwork to display at your home, cottage, lake house or even your office. There is something for everyone up at Art in the Loft.

The SummerView exhibit offers some exciting opportunities for us to celebrate our 25th anniversary! Come learn about the space, how it started and the changes that have been made. Any of our staff or board members are more than happy to answer questions about the gallery and its programming.

Also, Art in the Loft’s 25th Anniversary Gala is happening on November 7. Join the fun as Art in the Loft looks back on the past 25 years, celebrate its growth and look towards the future. Make sure to mark your calendars and be on the lookout for more information as the date draws near. It’ll be an evening you won’t want to miss.
