PRESQUE ISLE — Homestead Artisan Market & Gallery at 8015 E. Grand Lake Road, Presque Isle. Open Saturdays Memorial Day- Labor Day 10-3. Shop for beautiful works of arts and crafts all made by local artists and artisans.

The annual Homestead Artisan Market & Gallery is set to begin and there will be a lot to enjoy this summer.

The market and gallery will be open on Saturdays from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The opening weekend for shopping is on May 23-25, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Harmonica Player, Michael Lisi, will perform on May 23, playing from 10 a.m. until -noon Bring a chair and come and enjoy.

On May 25, there will be the “Kick off Summer Picnic” that will also feature music by guitarist and singer Brian Puls. There will also be outdoor yard games, table games, and lots of fun. Stop by to play some games and enjoy a hotdog.

On July 24-25, there will be Christmas in July. Everything will be decorated for a summer Christmas celebration that includes Christmas music and holiday cookies. People can also get a jump on Christmas shopping and support our local artists. Our artists and crafters bring out some of their Christmas items.

On Aug. 22 the pace of summer will slow down with Blues guitarist Mac Hainstock who will perform.

The final weekend is on Sept. 5-7.
