ALPENA — Enjoy three hours of footstomping music by the Birch Road Band during a fundraiser hosted by the Alpena Blues Coalition on April 18 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the Alpena Eagles Club. The proceeds from the event will help keep the Alpena Blues Festival free for the public. There is a recommended $5 donation request at the door, There will be 50/50 drawings and a basket raffle and drinks can be purchased at the bar or people can bring their own beverages. Doors to the event open at 6 p.m.
