ALPENA — The Grace Episcopal Church will have its monthly soup and sandwich dinner on Friday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

As usual, there will be assorted soups and at least one meatless soup.

The church will also have grilled cheese, ground bologna, egg salad, and ham sandwiches.

There will also be a delicious assortment of homemade desserts.

The cost of the meal is by donation.

The proceeds this month will help support the Sunrise Mission of Alpena. Last month the church donated the money from the meal to The United Way.
