ALPENA — The Association of Lifelong Learners (ALL) has released next week’s schedule of events and participants can learn more about writing, gardening, and more.
There will be a writing workshop on April 1 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the ACC Madeline Briggs Center 143.
This writing workshop series focuses on writing, sharing, and feedback. Everyone has stories, some are told, some are written, and some, like memoirs, are written to be shared with others. Mary Ann Krajnik Crawford has been a personal journal writer and teacher of writing for many years.
Ready for Spring? Come Garden will be held on April 2 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. also at the ACC Madeline Briggs–Gardening Center, off of room 143.
Was this winter too much for you? Are you ready to get your hands dirty helping the Alpena Garden Club community members grow the seeds to beautify the campus. Come join us in the grow room at the ACC Madeline Briggs Center and see what we are doing. We are in need of volunteers and hope with this invitation we can encourage you to lend a hand.
What is Wellsport? is also on April 2 from noon until 1 p.m. at the ACC Madeline Briggs Center 140 in person or on ZOOM by using the Meeting ID: 819 055 41164 Passcode: 152526. Discuss the non-surgical treatments available for arthritis, tendonitis and other acute and chronic orthopedic conditions. Additionally, we will learn about what the specialty of sports medicine is, and what the WellSport Program at MyMichigan is all about. Dr. Shelby Crawford is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician with specialized training in primary care sports medicine. As a provider of MyMichigan’s WellSport Program, she specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a variety of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries and medical conditions.
