ALPENA — Art in the Loft has a new series that will focus on kids.
It is called Neon Nights and kids are invited to Art in the Loft for a series of funky fun art experiences, all by black light on Feb.27 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The kids can enjoy fun music, a neon face paint bar, glow sticks and guided glow-worthy art instruction, all among ultraviolet lighting.
Participants are asked to wear bright white, hot pink, vibrant greens, yellows and oranges, and be inspired and glow.
In this session, Art in the Loft will be using gravity as its paint brush as it will experiment with two different styles of paint, pouring in addition to spin art.
All skill levels are welcome and supplies are included.
These projects get messy, so please don’t wear items you’d be bummed to mark up.
Lane Blair Olsen is the instructor and the event is for children 9-years old and older.
There is a $30 fee per participant.
