HARRISVILLE — The Alcona Historical Society is offering their second 2026 Cabin Fever Lecture series presentation titled “Murder and Mayhem: Alcona’s Historical Crimes.”

Cheryl Peterson, editor of the Alcona County Review will explore some of the most fascinating historic mysteries in Alcona County and northern Michigan during this investigation into the region’s true historical crimes.

This presentation will be held at the Alcona County Library in Harrisville on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The library is located at 312 West Main St. and light refreshments will be available.
