Lifelong Learners announce events

Immanuel Lutheran Pastor Joshua Schultz

ALPENA — The Alpena Community College Association of Lifelong Learners will have a pair of premier events next week.

On Tuesday, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at ACC in the Madeline Briggs Center 140. A presentation by Immanuel Lutheran School will provide an overview of the planned expansion of the Lutheran school in Alpena and how it will serve students and families in the local community with continued and growing Christian education opportunities. Immanuel has offered parochial education for around 145 years. The project is being approached thoughtfully and responsibly to ensure long-term sustainability and community benefit.

On Thursday, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. in ACC’s Madeline Briggs Center 143. There will be a\n Alpena Public School’s Tech Workshop

People can bring any and all of their technology devices that are giving them headaches to this workshop.

Also, bring all your questions about those devices to this workshop. The Alpena High School students of DECA** club are here to help.

These students know it all, if one can’t help another can. Club advisor Amanda Pilarski also shares her knowledge and skills. This is one-on-one help that focuses on your situation and concerns. Limited to 15 attendees.
