ALPENA — The Grace Episcopal Church will be hosting its monthly soup and sandwich dinner on Friday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

With Lent starting the church will be having a few meatless dishes.

The dinner features a delicious variety of homemade soups. This month there will be grilled cheese on homemade french bread, tuna noodle casserole, ground bologna, egg salad, and ham sandwiches. There will also be an assortment of pies and deserts.Cost is by donation, and this month the funds will be given to the United Way of Northeast Michigan.
