Courtesy Photo The Alpena area Girl Scouts gathered at St Paul Lutheran Church on Thursday evening to celebrate World Friendship Day. Troops picked out different countries and had displays of their country with ethnic food, swaps, and games. The highlight of the evening was special guest Alpena Mayor Cindy Johnson who led and taught the Girl Scouts songs.
