The Alpena County Library is hosting Murder Mystery: The Girl in the Well on Jan. 30 from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. During the challenge, people will study the crime scene evidence, case map, suspect profiles, interviews with witnesses, autopsy report, investigation notes, and much more to solve the cold case of the “Girl in the Well.”

It is recommended people form a group of two to five players, ages 18 and up, in advance, but solo players are welcome to join a group upon arrival. Limited case files are available, and groups may have to combine. The murder mystery resources are provided by Hunt a Killer. the event is free to the public.
