ALPENA – Santa Claus is coming to Downtown Alpena

This December, stop by his house at Culligan Plaza to meet Santa, get your photo taken, and tell him your wishes for this Christmas. Santa will be in his house, which is located in the parking lot of Culligan Plaza, on the following dates:

• Friday, December 5 from 4-7 pm

• Saturday, December 6 from 2-7 pm

• Friday, December 12 from 4-7 pm

• Saturday, December 13 from 4-7 pm

• Friday, December 19 from 4-7 pm

• Saturday, December 20 from 4-7 pm

The events are free and open to people of all ages. Mrs. Claus will be on hand to help hold coats, take photos, and assist with the events.

“Every year I look forward to Christmas time in downtown Alpena. It’s always so festive with the big Christmas Tree lit up, the garland everywhere, Santa’s house fully decorated. It makes working downtown even more delightful being able to see all of the decorations every day during the holiday season!” said Alpena Downtown Development Authority Administrative Assistant Savannah Peterson.

Santa also has a mailbox in front of his house where families can drop off their letters to Santa at any point leading up to Christmas.
