Courtesy Photo Members of the Ossineke United Methodist Church present a check from a representative from St Vincent's de Paul to help offset heating bills of those in need.

OSSINEKE — The Ossineke United Methodist Church partnered with St. Vincent De Paul to raise money to help offset heating bills for those less fortunate. In total, $4,442 was raised.

The event was a silent auction with local talent for entertainment including our own Paster Reeve Segrest , and Lincoln United Methodist choir and members from Harrisville United Methodist church. Light refreshments were served.

Around 190 items were provided for the silent auction, not including pies and baked goods and all proceeds went to St Vincent’s de Paul, St Catherine’s conference and St Anne’s conference.
