In 2026, to strengthen its impact, the Besser Museum’s Board of Trustees implemented new admission and membership pricing effective Jan. 1. These adjustments reflect the growing value of our offerings and will help us continue to provide high-quality exhibitions, educational programs, and community events that inspire and engage visitors of all ages, the museum said in a press release on Monday.

Since 2011, the museum has kept its general admission and membership rates unchanged in spite of inflationary increases totaling 44%. Over the past fourteen years, the museum has grown tremendously, expanded its exhibits, enriched its educational programs, and deepened its community impact.

“We’re proud of the growth and momentum the museum has seen, and these updates will help us continue to serve our community with excellence,” Executive Director Christine Witulski said in the press release. “We remain committed to accessibility and will continue offering free admission days and discounted rates for students, families, and veterans.”

What’s New:

– General Admission: Adults (15 – 99), $10 – Children (4 – 14): $5, Children Under three: free veterans and active military: $5, Museum Members: free admission every Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

– Membership Levels: We’re introducing new membership tiers with expanded benefits, guest passes, and discounts on special events. Information can be found on the museum’s website.
