ALPENA — Kathy Garant, dedicated volunteer at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena has pinned the 2025 angel pin on the lapel of Hunter Nostrant, Medical Center president. Garant has been a long-standing, and very dedicated volunteer at the medical center since 1987. During this time, she has served the Auxiliary, Volunteer Department and the Development Council in many capacities.

The Angel Pinning is a 50-year tradition that kicks off the sale of the pins in the Gift Shop of MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena and out in the community. Customers return year after year to obtain the new pin design. All proceeds from angel pin sales are used to support volunteer pledges toward advancements in technology and services at the Medical Center.
