Dinosaur Gardens Fall-O-Ween scheduled for Oct. 3

Dinosaur Gardens will hold its second annual Fall-O-Ween Extravaganza and Trunk-or-Treat event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 3 at the business, located at 6665 U.S.-23 in Ossineke.

The event costs $7 for those ages 14 and up, but children can attend the event for free. Visitors will be able to walk through the dinosaur park during the event, which will also feature music, activities, popcorn and candy.

Dinosaur Gardens is also seeking vendors to participate in the event at no cost, but vendors should plan to bring enough candy for 600 to 1,000 children, according to a press release from the business. Set up for the event will begin at 2:30 p.m., with a vendor check-in at the pavilion.

Shannon Vivero, who does marketing for the business, said Dinosaur Garden sits on about 27-acres and is more than capable of adhering to social distancing guidelines. Vendors will be spaced out along the park’s half-mile long walking trail.

Vendors and attendees ages 14 and up will be required to wear a mask during the event.

“This year has been a whirlwind and has affected each and every one of us in some way, shape, or form,” Vivero said in the news release. “We are very excited to make this event possible with the help of the community for our children and families, while also keeping everyone safe.”

Questions about the event or about participating as a vendor can be directed to Vivero at 989-590-7603.
