Eddith Miller to celebrate 100th birthday April 24

Eddith “Eadie” Miller

Eddith (Eadie) Miller was born in Azle, Texas, on April 24, 1919.

What changes she sees today with family and friends from that humble farmhouse beginning with her now deceased mom and dad and three older brothers and sisters.

She grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, graduated, married Ralf LaCroix (who worked for the T&P Railway for more than 40 years), and they had one daughter, Carol Anderson, who married after college and moved to Alpena.

Eadie worked for JCPenney, and was active in her church, Women’s Club, Order of the Eastern Star, and has always loved visiting with family.

After Ralf’s death, Eadie moved to Alpena’s Birchwood Meadows in 2005 to be near Carol, her children and families.

Her family includes Carol’s children: Robyn Smith, Kevin Anderson of Florida, and Debbie LaBell; grandchildren: Matthew and Gabriel Smith, Molly and Alex Anderson of Florida, and Jamie and Erin LaBell, and Molly’s two daughters, Emma and Ellie in Florida.

What a special party this 100th is for her.
