The Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library will host an After School Fun at the Library: Clothespin Lamp event from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 17 at the library, 211 N. First Ave.

During the free event, students in grades three through five will learn how to make a lamp from clothespins. They also will share a meal.

Registration is required as space is limited.
