Douglas and Susan (Couture) Cosbitt, of Alpena, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on July 8.

The couple married July 8, 1967 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena.

They are lifelong residents of Alpena.

The couple raised four sons: Kevin (Chrissy), Steve (Ann), Chris (Paula), and Curt (Kandace). They have been blessed with eight grandchildren: Cole, Macy, Nathan, Emma, Meghan, Camden, Alex, and Easton.

Their family would like to thank them for being incredible parents and grandparents. They wish them a happy anniversary and more to come.
