Ted and Chris Fines of Lincoln will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 14.

They were married on Jan. 14, 1972, in Detroit, at the Coleman A. Young Municipal Building (formerly the City-County Building) presided over by Judge Daniel J. Van Antwerp.

The couple will be celebrating their anniversary in Savannah, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina.

They have three children, Justin E. Fines (wife Lindy) of Brooklyn, New York; Ian R. Fines (wife Beth and grandson Colin) of Columbus, Ohio; and Carrie M. Fines (grandson Logan) of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan.
