On Dec. 1, William (Bill) and Dorothy Rouleau celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Bill and Dorothy were married in 1951 at St. Dominic’s Church in Metz.
Over the last 70 years, they have raised six children and are now blessed with 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Their children are Mark and Evie Rouleau, Tom and Julie Rouleau, Reyne and Lee Marcell, Lisa and Rich Miller, Rick and Tina Rouleau, and Todd and Linda Rouleau.
Bill worked for National Gypsum Cement for 35 years before retiring in 1986. The couple also owned and operated Magic Wand Auto Wash in Alpena. After retirement, Bill and Dorothy enjoyed square dancing and spending winters in their Florida home. They regularly play cards, and Dorothy enjoys working in her flower gardens.
Bill and Dorothy continue to be members of the Catholic church community in Alpena. Both are loved dearly by their family and friends.
