ALPENA — Justin and Darby (Cornelius) Hinkley, of Alpena, celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on Friday.

They met while both worked as reporters at the Battle Creek Enquirer. He fell in love with her infectious laugh. She fell in love with his unending dorkiness. Fourteen years after they met, 12 years after they started dating, and 10 years after they got married, they’re still the best of friends and madly in love.

They have one son, Mason Hinkley, 13.

Justin’s parents are Keith Hinkley, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Sue Gallihugh, of Kalamazoo, and Kenadie Gallihugh, of Largo, Florida. Darby’s parents are Mike and Jeanne Cornelius, of Spruce, and Patricia Cornelius, of Alpena. Please join them in wishing the Hinkleys a very happy 10th anniversary.
