ALPENA -- On Saturday, the Second Avenue bridge will remain open from 7 to 9 p.m. to allow the illuminated boat parade to complete its route from the Alpena Marina to the turning basin near Rotary Island Park.
"The Venetian Night Lighted Boat Parade celebrates Thunder Bay's rich maritime heritage and will be a highlight of the festival weekend for residents and visitors," a City of Alpena press release stated.
