Treatment strategy for Parkinson’s and dementia event

ALPENA – Dr. Laurie K. Mischley will present a program called “Lifestyle as a Treatment Strategy for Parkinson’s and Dementia” at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the Alpena Senior Citizens Center, 501 River St., Alpena.

The program will address the following:

¯ How to measure brain health;

¯ How to feed your families;

¯ What counts as exercise;

¯ If and when you should take supplements, including dosage and brands;

¯ How to know if what you’re doing is working.
