The Holy Gears robotics team is seen competing in Canada for the international FIRST Tech Robotics Canadian Rockies Premier event.

ALPENA -- Representatives from the Holy Gears robotics team at All Saints Catholic School (ASCS) recently earned an invitation to the FIRST Tech Robotics Canadian Rockies Premier event.
Out of 48 teams, the ASCS team was the only of four middle school teams competing against high school teams from around the world. The Holy Gears were awarded the Innovate Award that recognizes the team with one of the most creative and effective engineering designs in the competition. Teams are judged not only on the robot's performance but also on the innovation behind its design, engineering process, and its ability to solve complex challenges.
