The Alpena Figure Skating Club will present its annual ice show on Friday and Saturday at the Northern Lights Arena.

The theme of this year’s show is “Starlit Dreams” and will feature songs from all genres of music including “Enter Sandman” by Metallica and “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” by Jewel.

Approximately 90 skaters, coaches, and numerous volunteers have been hard at work for months preparing for this special event. Skaters will be performing various types of routines emphasizing skills such as dance, synchronized skating, and freestyle. The annual ice show is the culmination of the season. It is a chance for skaters to demonstrate the skills they’ve developed while sharing their love of the sport with family, friends, and their community.

Show times are Friday 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
