Take Your Child to the Library Day logo

On Saturday, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. the Alpena County George N. Fletcher Public Library will participate alongside thousands of libraries across the world in celebration of Take Your Child to the Library Day. Free activities will be offered for participants, which will include crafts and a visit from Bluey.

“The local library is an ideal place for children to play, discover, make friends, and have fun,” the Alpena County Library stated in a press release on Tuesday. “Take Your Child to the Library Day is the perfect time to discover some library magic.”
