The Alpena Vietnam Veterans Chapter 583 is beginning their Operation Holidays food and toy drive.

On Thursday, Home Depot Employees helped pack food boxes in preparation to give to families on Thanksgiving. Donations of toys are still needed. Operation Holidays serves around 2800 kids across Alpena, Alcona, Montmorency, and Presque Isle counties. Donations can be dropped off at 2005 U.S.-23 South in the Thunder Bay Plaza.
