SUNRISE SIDE BULLETIN BOARD — Sept. 19
Badder Family Reunion a success
The Badder Reunion was held on the last Saturday in July at the Hubbard Lake Lions Club Park in Hubbard Lake.
“The weather was beautiful, and the food was delicious,” Dixie Crevier said in an email summary about the reunion. “There were approximately 75 in attendance and a good time was had by all. Getting acquainted again is why we come together every year. We lost two more leaves off the family tree this year: Arlie Prevost and Carol Prevost. They are both in heaven and free from pain, and we are so thankful for that.”
The oldest in attendance was Darv Liske and the youngest was Miley Sue, daughter of Nathan and Staci Oliver and granddaughter of Dick and Lori Oliver and great-granddaughter of Ed and Carolyn Ritthaler. Ed Ritthaler won the door prize and Jackie Badder won the 50/50.
Little ones dug in the sawdust for prizes and they were thrilled with what they found. Marvin Schultz led the group in prayer before their meal.
“Thanks to Debbie for hosting our reunion this year and thanks to Dale for grilling the hotdogs,” Crevier said. “If you weren’t there this year, we missed you, and hope to see you next year. Same place, and same time.”
Anyone who would like to see something added to the reunion is encouraged to email Crevier at dixiecrevier1@gmail.com.
