ALPENA — Viking Cruise ship visitors participated in a glass art class on Thursday at Art in the Loft, led by Kendra Gagnier of KendrArt.

Participants used beach glass to create their own unique versions of a lighthouse art piece.

“This was so much fun and you have a beautiful gallery,” one participant told Art in the Loft staff.

“This was a lovely experience,” another participant said. “I wish you could come to California because the ladies there would eat this up.”

Participants were from California, Nevada, Minnesota, and the United Kingdom, to name a few.
