ALPENA — Zonta Club of Alpena/Tri-County Area recently partnered with Alpena High School in assuring period equity for all those who need period products.

The club’s goal is to help reduce locally the number of those in school who either cannot afford, or have no access to, period products.

Zonta International is a worldwide organization whose goal is to “Build a Better World for Women and Girls.”

“These donations are but one step we can do to show those who need them that they are valued, they are important, and they are respected,” stated Ann Weir, president of Zonta Club of Alpena/Tri-County Area.
