SNHU announces Spring 2025 President’s List

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) congratulates the following students on being named to the Spring 2025 President’s List for the spring term that runs from January to May.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Local students named to the SNHU President’s List include Christopher Keller of Posen, Alexis Ciarkowski of Alpena, Zoe Hoops of Alpena, and Layken Barnett of Alpena.

Albion College announces 2025 graduates

ALBION — Albion College is pleased to announce local members of the graduating Class of 2025.

Taylor Clark of Mikado graduated with a degree in biology and a minor in religious studies.

Emma Loewe of Presque Isle graduated with a degree in kinesiology-exercise science and a minor in health communication. Loewe is the child of Anthony and Jennifer Loewe of Presque Isle.

Deanna Silver named to SNHU Dean’s List

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Deanna Silver of Alpena has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Spring 2025 Dean’s List for the spring term that runs from January to May.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Dylan White honored for excellence in physics

FLINT — Kettering University proudly recognizes students from the A-Section Physics program who were honored at the annual Physics Awards Ceremony on March 18.

Dylan White, of Lewiston, was honored for excellence in physics. He was recognized for providing academic support in historically challenging courses through peer-led study sessions.

These awards celebrate academic excellence, leadership in service, and honor society induction in the field of physics and astronomy.

Through rigorous coursework, peer mentorship, and hands-on engagement with the scientific community, these students exemplify the discipline, drive, and impact that define the Kettering experience.

The Kettering A Chapter of the Society of Physics Students was named among the top 10% of chapters nationwide for the sixth consecutive year, recognized in the SPS Observer and on the national SPS website.

Northwestern Michigan College Dean’s List announced

TRAVERSE CITY — Northwestern Michigan College congratulates local students who made the Dean’s List by earning a 3.5 or better grade-point average for the spring 2025 semester.

Sierria Connon, of Alpena, and Blayton Grossett, of Presque Isle, were named to the Dean’s List.
