AHS Class of 1953 luncheons start May 13 at 19th Hole

ALPENA ­– The Alpena High School Class of 1953 will start meeting again on the second Tuesday of the month beginning May 13 through Oct. 14. Luncheons will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the 19th Hole, located on the corner of Golf Course Road and U.S.-23 North.

Aid by the Dozen met

ALPENA ­– Carole Kelly hosted the April meeting of the Aid by the Dozen. Cards were sent to shut-ins, and thank-you notes were shared. Secret pals were many: Chris Dubey, Nancy Belanger, Catherine Murphy, Mariette Jore, Carole Kelly, Kaye Ross, Lori Zeller.

Nancy received the dessert treat, and Lori received the hostess gift. Mariette will host the next meeting.
